Mentoring at XMediaLab Sweden
I’m very happy I had the great honor to speak at XMediaLab Sweden in Malmö this january. XMediaLab events follow a very unique format. This one was specifically dedicated to location based services, it consisted of a conference day packed with interesting talks plus a two days workshop, the so called lab. During the lab conference speakers become mentors to work one-on-one with selected digital media businesses and project teams. Mentoring Workshop at DMMK / Create10
This year I joined Germanys multimedia congress DMMK and international conference for creative industries Create10 in Stuttgart. I had the great honor to add to the expert team of the “Visual experience” and the “Mobile experience” workshops. Create10 is succeeding the Creativity World Forum 2009, and together with the DMMK two days conference it is one of the major digital media conferences in Germany. Teaching at Good School Hamburg
It was a great honor to give a lecture on AR at the two-day creative workshop about innovative communication technologies at the Good School for marketing and communication in Hamburg on Sept, 4th and 5th. The workshop explicitly addressed senior level strategists at media agencies and marketing departments. I basically contributed an overview about Mobile Augmented Reality and why and how AR is becoming an emerging mass medium of the mobile age. Speaking at Layar events in New York and San Francisco
Layar hosted two events in New York and San Francisco this summer, and I was invited to speak at both of them about the technology side of layer development. As a member of the Layar Partner Network I represented this Layar collaboration network with all its members who dedicated their Mobile AR development business to Layar. The main goal of the events was to encourage more U.S. developers, brands and agencies to engage with the Layar platform but also to learn about local needs and insights. Read more…
Workshop at PHP Usergroup Stuttgart
